A former prosecutor, Mr. Ruffner started his own practice in 2001 to focus on Criminal Defense. Mr. Ruffner is an experienced criminal attorney and has an active practice in both Federal and State Court. Mr. Ruffner has also filed a class action suit on behalf of inmates at the Cumberland County Jail to prevent the Jail from interfering with inmate access to their attorneys. Mr. Ruffner is a member of the American Bar Association, Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Maine State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Maine and Missouri State Courts as well as the Federal District Court of Maine and the First Circuit Court or Appeals.
